Compared to the existing Rondo strings, these have a slightly softer feel overall (tension is also slightly lower than Rondo). Like Rondo, the balance across all four strings is good. The E string has a brilliant sound; the carbon version is more powerful, while the gold version has a softer resonance.
The bow response is not too tight, making them easy to control, and they are comfortable to press down with the left hand.
