■ Soejima Isao Shoten Domestic Igusa Summer Mat Hana-Goshi No. 855
■ Size: Approx. 87 x 190 cm
■ Material: Body/100% Igusa, Edging/100% Cotton

It contains cushioning material inside, so it can be used as a single mat on tatami or the floor. How about casually laying it out in the living room for a nap?

Igusa has fine unevenness on the surface of its stems, which makes it less likely to stick to the skin and has a high ability to absorb sweat (stuffiness). Therefore, if you lay it on a futon or bed and sleep directly on it, you can sleep comfortably with a cool, smooth, and dry feel.

About 80-90% of the igusa on the market is cultivated overseas, and the cultivation methods and amount of pesticides used are often unclear. Soejima Isao Shoten products use 100% domestic healthy igusa cultivated with a minimal amount of pesticides.

Soejima Isao Shoten's igusa products are safe and secure items that have preserved Japan's wonderful traditional techniques for many years.

*The surface of igusa products uses dyed soil and dyes during manufacturing.
These are harmless to the human body, but may adhere to your hands, feet, or clothing when the product is new.
Please be sure to dry wipe the surface before use.

*Because the root part of the igusa stems has some unevenness, the edges may appear whitish when woven, but this is not due to sun exposure.

*There may be slight variations in color.
