Showa Retro! Nambu Tekki (Ironware) Teapot and Teapot Kokeshi Paperweight 2-Piece Set Antique

Thank you for looking.

Nambu Ironware Iron Kettle and Kokeshi Paperweight Set (2 items)

[Iron Kettle]
Width: 13cm, Height: 12.5cm, Weight: 625g
[Kokeshi Paperweight]
Width: 4cm, Height: 4.5cm, Weight: 135g

These items have been quietly displayed for many years on a living board with glass doors. According to family members, they have been in our home for over 50 years. A relative was a Nambu ironware craftsman, and they were received from that person.

The iron kettle shows signs of use, but no noticeable rust or damage is apparent.

This is a rare item (?), the Kokeshi paperweight has been stored alongside the iron kettle for many years. The neck is made of wood and sways sideways when vibrated. I am an amateur and cannot tell if the iron kettle part was originally reddish-brown or if it is a natural rust color.

These are items that have been stored long-term in a general household. We appreciate your understanding.

Sold as a set only.
